It’s another normal day in the Mushroom Kingdom when Bowser decides to once again try his luck at capturing the princess. Although his attempt is once again a failure, Mario’s rescue of the princess gets interrupted by a new enemy, one who plans to destroy this world and replace it with a world filled with weapons! Mario will have to go to some new places and meet some new faces in his first full-fledged RPG title.

This was the eighth “replay” project I did on my channel, as I had done some videos for the game at a prior date, but due to the poorer quality of the project, I decided to redo the project with a modern spin. The videos for the old project are still available for viewing on my channel, but there is no longer a playlist associated with that version.

Although my replay projects were generally met with positive feedback, this was the first one where I felt I had more mixed results, mostly due to how overplayed this game is. Despite this fact, this is one of my all-time favorite SNES games and my attitude towards the original project was too low for my personal standards, which gave me enough of a reason to redo the project. At the end of the day, I was satisfied with the redo, and I think that is all that matters in the long run, and I hope you guys enjoy the videos as well!

┬áSo it turns out the American version of Super Mario Bros. 2 wasn’t the same as what the Japanese got, claiming that the original Super Mario Bros. 2 was way too hard for American gamers. Thankfully though, this gaming experience wasn’t lost on us, as Nintendo of America was nice enough to include it for the very first time in the Super Mario All-Stars cartridge. Now, let’s see what this game REALLY has in store for us! =D

This is a project done in conjunction with three other games as part of the Super Mario All-Stars Let’s Play. I had just finished Radiant Dawn at this point and wanted to take it easy before I got back into any major games, so I figured a run-through all of the classic NES Mario games was in order!

So we had the game that started it all, and the two games involved in the sequel controversy, but now we have the one that everyone remembers! Super Mario Bros. 3 was a phenomenal success for gamers living in the NES era, with the inclusion of such classic levels, power-ups, enemies, and some of the best 2D platforming you will ever find in gaming history! Can you bring Mario all the way to World 8 and rescue the princess again? You better hit that start button and find out!

Behold, Mario’s first platforming adventure in all of its glory! This is the first game where a plumber from the Mushroom Kingdom goes on a quest to rescue Princess Toadstool from the evil, King of the Koopas, Bowser! Hope you are ready for some classic nostalgia.

Mario has taken a trip to Dinosaur Land, but only to find out that his fair Princess Toadstool has been captured by Bowser once again. Not only that, but the Yoshis, a new species discovered by the portly plumber, are also being held captive by Bowser’s koopalings. It looks like Mario will have to save the day once more, in this whole new world!

This was the first “replay” project I did on my channel, as I had done some videos for the game at a prior date, but due to the bad (camcorder) quality of the project, with no commentary to boot, I decided to redo the project with a modern spin. The older videos are no longer available on my channel.

This being my all-time favorite video game (at least by nostalgia sake), I was more than delighted to play this game for my viewers. I don’t claim to be a master at the game, but I do love going back to this title every now and then to take a trip down memory lane. This project just felt like another amazing trip to me!
