Thomas Was Alone

Indie games can seriously turn out to be exquisite gems of beauty; the types of games you normally wouldn’t see on consoles, but because one person decided to put their creative mind to work, and due to nice little services like Steam and all the virtual consoles of the world, we can now experience games like Thomas Was Alone! A game that follows a young rectangle through life as he meets new friends and navigates the world around him.

A good friend of mine, illuWeaver, gifted me this game on Steam awhile back. After telling me nothing but good things about this game, and after telling her that I had never heard of it before, she thought it was a game I really needed to play. So when it went on sale, she bought it for me AND I HUGGED HER NONSTOP FOR IT! Ok, I may have exaggerated the last part, but I did enjoy the gift and decided it was a game that would be good to showcase on my channel as a blind playthrough. Plus, I needed another game to finish out the year with! Either way, it’s time for Thomas Was Alone!

Plants vs. Zombies

Plants vs. Zombies

Game: Plants vs. Zombies
Start Date: October 3rd, 2015
Videos: 21

In a world where Zombie video games are present and numerous, sometimes a quirky game like this can come out and surprise you. This game takes the silly scenario of fighting off zombies with your home-grown plants in perhaps one of the most addictive mobile puzzle games I’ve ever played.

Of all the games I own on Steam, Plants vs. Zombies is probably my all-time favorite. I might have more hours of playtime with Civilization V, but Plants vs. Zombies was the first game I bought on the system and is hands down my favorite. I had wanted to do a playthrough of this game for awhile, and although OCtober 2014 was pretty crazy and eventful, in 2015 I had a chance to come back and do this game properly.

Insert C0in Community Forum

Insert C0in Community Forum

Hey guys!

Do not worry, this is not my first “actual” post, but I will have an article/writing up later today about some things that have been on my mind. In the meantime though, I do want to make a quick update to say that I have added a new section under the “Community” tab. This section is called “Forum” and it links to the “Insert C0in” community forum. This forum was created by FiyahKitteh, and I helped develop and create a few different modules and graphics for the site. I also happen to be a moderator at the place as well.

As of now, I have no plans to make a forum or chat room for this site, and considering that this website alone is quite a new endeavor for me, it’s not something I see anytime soon either. Until that time comes though (if it ever does), I would like to invite you to “Insert C0in,” to talk with other Star Warriors and gamers alike. The forum is still relatively new as well (created around Christmas time), so don’t expect a huge amount of traffic right off the bat, but there are plenty of threads and discussions though with the sure possibility of more down the road.

For now though, here is the link! Hope you like what you see and enjoy participating if you decide to sign up!

Thanks for your time, and I think that is all I have to say for now! See you Star Warriors later!

The Stanley Parable

The Stanley Parable

Game: The Stanley Parable
Start Date: October 17th, 2013
Runtime: 2:29 hours

There once was a man named Stanley. He worked in a typical office building and did a very simple job of pushing buttons. He was very good at following instruction, but what happens when you, the video gamer, gain control of Stanley? Will you do what Stanley is told? Or will you deviate away in an uncharacteristic act of betrayal?

I feel like of all the projects I’ve done on my channel, this was the biggest departure from the norm. What was the result? A game of absolute hilarity! I can honestly say that I haven’t laughed this hard while playing a game ever in my entire life and I owe this pleasuring experience to The Stanley Parable!

VVVVVV

VVVVVV

Game: VVVVVV
Start Date: August 31st, 2012
Runtime: 2:53 hours

Captain Viridian and his crew crash land on a very strange planet, which seems to be an alternate dimension filled with all kinds of dangers, obstacles, gameplay mechanics, and spikes! Yes, you can’t forget the spikes! Navigate Viridian through these dangers to find his lost crew and hopefully make it out of this place before something weird happens!

So I had finished The Maze Game Remastered and my laptop still wasn’t fixed yet, which means I needed another game to hold audiences for the time being. I went to my Steam account and saw one of my all-time favorite indie-developed games, VVVVVV. When I first played this game, I knew that I wanted to do an LP of it someday, so I figured now was as good of a time as any!
