Are you guys ready to race? Well, there were definitely a few races on Youtube where I took on the challenge to race some of my friends in a specific game, and this page will be dedicated to those races; whether it’s past, present or future.
Super Mario World
Competitors: Skinl3y19 and SlimKirby (me)
Skinl3y19 and I were participating in some trash talk and we talked about the possibility of doing a race between us. I mentioned that Super Mario World was one of my all-time favorite games, and he jumped on the chance to challenge me to a 96-exit race.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX
Competitors: LuckySevenDX, praisedscooter, SlimKirby (me) and Thomal9
LuckySevenDX and I were discussing the possibility of doing some game races on our channels and when Link’s Awakening was brought up, we decided to give that game a go. Lucky also brought his friends praisedscooter and Thomal9 on board for a very interesting and VERY CLOSE race.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Competitors: MegaFreak400 and SlimKirby (me)
MegaFreak400 and I have done a lot of game races, from Zelda games, to Banjo Kazooie, and even Donkey Kong 64 at one point. For one of our projects on CrystalStarStudio, we decided to do a game race of Ocarina of Time from beginning to end. And let me say, this race will always remain one of my favorites. A lot of jokes, a lot of core strats, and most importantly, a lot of hilarious fails.
Pokémon Emerald (Randomizer)
Competitors: ShotzRox, Skinl3y19 and SlimKirby (me)
In perhaps one of my biggest regrets on Youtube; that regret being me never being able to end this project, we have the Pokémon Emerald Randomizer race between Skinley, Shotz and myself. First of all, Pokémon is already a huge undertaking, even in a casual speed format. But the worst part is, Shotz and I had never played this game before this project. Funnily enough though, that’s not the reason this playthrough is regrettable, because the race was pretty close getting down to the last videos, surprisingly. However, due to constant computer issues, including Skinley and I having both of our hard-drives crash at very inopportune times, our files were lost, leading to this project never being finished. Such a shame….
