Star Fox

Star Fox

Game: Star Fox

The Lylat System is being threatened by an evil scientist by the name of Andross and it’s up to the Cornerian Army, specifically a hired mercenary team known as Star Fox, to take care of the evil monkey and bring peace back to this world.

Covering the Star Fox series has been a long-time coming for my channel, but the reason why it took so long was because of this game right here. Although I absolutely love Star Fox 64, I never grew up with the original game on SNES and it just so happens to be an incredibly difficult game as well. I wanted to make sure I had a good enough grasp on this game before I covered it on my channel, and after enough practice, I finally decided it was time! Let’s finally start the Star Fox series!

Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

Game: Luigi’s Mansion
Start Date: September 21st, 2020
End Date: —

You would think after the events of the first Luigi’s Mansion that the brother in green would be a little less frightened by ghosts, but in Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, there is a lot of ghostly activity going around Evershade Valley and Professor E. Gadd has signed him up for another ghoulish gauntlet. Will Luigi be able to stop all of this spooky madness?

It’s been awhile since my last Luigi’s Mansion playthrough. In fact, the 3rd game wasn’t even conceptualized yet during that playthrough. However, since I had recently played the third game and never finished the prior installment, I figured it was time to do so, in addition to also playing it for the channel as well. Let’s hunt some ghosts, collect some gems, and also get as much treasure as possible!

Spyro the Dragon

Nintendo has a lot of mascot characters that have been loved for many years. Sony struck gold with Crash Bandicoot, but in addition to the orange marsupial, there was also a purple dragon that seemed to do very well for himself, and that dragon’s name is Spyro. Let’s join this bubbly dragon in his quest to save the dragon world (amongst other worlds) from evil-doing! First up, let’s stop Gnasty Gnorc!

Although I never had a lot of experience with Crash growing up, I still had a little bit of exposure from my neighbors and other friends. Spyro is a series I never once had any sort of experience with, but I was always interested in seeing what his games were like. Thankfully, much like the Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy, Spyro also got a remastered trilogy in the form of the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, an awesome collection that features remakes of his first 3 games on the Playstation. I knew this was my best chance to experience the series, and in the year 2020, I got my first taste of the Spyro franchise. And I gotta say, I fell in love with these games! So I hope you guys enjoy my 100% playthrough of the very first Spyro the Dragon game!

Mario Golf (N64)

Mario Golf (N64)

Game: Mario Golf (N64)
Start Date: May 30th, 2020
End Date: August 23rd, 2020

Mario has adventuring, racing, role-playing and partying under his belt and he’s even taken a few steps into the wonderful world of sports as well. In fact, Mario’s first golf outing was back on the NES, but it wasn’t until the N64 where Mario got his name alongside the great game of golf in Mario Golf.

With Mario Kart being finished and with Mario Party on the way to its completion, I figured it was time to start working on another Mario sub-series, so I decided it was time to work on the sports games. Mario Golf happens to be my favorite of the Mario sports games, so I figured it was a great place to start. In this playthrough I showcase myself playing several rounds of golf, including beating all the tournaments, match plays, and ring shot challenges, as well as showcasing all the different modes.

Shovel Knight

Some people say, myself included, that the indie gaming scene has created a lot of timeless games and heroes that have become just as popular as some of the most famous video game characters, and one character that has gone on to tremendous success is the knight in blue armor himself. Yacht Club Games has literally struck gold with this game and has created not only one of the greatest indie titles of all time, but some could argue one of the greatest games of all time in Shovel Knight.

Shovel Knight is quite easily one of the best games of the past decade in my eyes, and I was happy to experience the game on stream when I played it a couple of years ago. Now I want to give this game the full treatment and cover everything this game has to offer, including the various expansions and DLC packs that have released.

Kirby Canvas Curse

Kirby Canvas Curse

Game: Kirby Canvas Curse
Start Date: March 14th, 2020
End Date: April 26th, 2020

When the Nintendo DS released, it’s not a surprise that the pink puffball (among other Nintendo franchise heroes) would try to take advantage of this new technology with a fully touch-controlled game, and Kirby Canvas Curse was the result. An evil sorceress named Drawcia has come to wreak havoc on Kirby’s world and using the magical paintbrush, we must guide Kirby, who is now in ball form, to stop Drawcia once and for all.

Although I had plans to cover another Kirby game at this time, I decided to get caught up with another Kirby spin-off game I had lying around, and admittedly Canvas Curse was a game I hadn’t spent a lot of time with. However, I was curious to see what this game was about and also cover it on my channel as well. In addition to covering the entire story mode, I also showcase all of the extra features of the game, including getting all the medals.
